No drone at all on the Spyder its the decat that does that.

The nature of the X pipe is to clash the exhaust gasses into each other causing pops and bangs on the overrun.

Not at the moment. I'm hoping to pick them up early next week as the guy who is modifying them is away this week. I'm also hoping to get a kit of parts from DL in the near future that will allow me to use the valves via a button in the car. As soon as I get an update I will post. Thanks for the interest.

New GS boxes now fitted and first impressions are promising. Even with the valves open, start up is fairly quiet with an underlying bass. Accelerating hard through the gears the boominess present with an entirely straight through system is gone but there is a crackling rasp from about 4000rpm and upwards and lots of pops and bangs on the overrun but not as loud as the aforementioned straight through. The car seems a bit nippier too which may or may not be the case. I don't know what it sounds like when driven with the valves closed as I havent got the vacuum kit which arrives next week. Overall, it's certainly a lot easier to live with than my 'Le Mans spec' system but will still give pedestrians a shock! Matt will, hopefully, post videos of valves closed and valves open in the near future. Listen with headphones to get a better idea.

Sounds the same to me but my ears may be damaged from a 1000 miles now done in the 360.

A bit louder with them open with more pops and crackles. But to be honest it does not sound like there is a huge difference.

I listened with some earbud headphones. A WARNING to anyone else who does this, it gets a **** of a lot louder right at the end of the videos.

I'm just off to put some cotton buds in my bleeding ears.
