If one already has a gransport, what needs to be changed or bought from you in order to get this improved sound..? and are they in stock..?

first - what an improvement for a very good price - loving the sound - good job

as per Amzey comments and maybe missed a response but what parts would we need for the GS to get this sound, would this be just the X pipe as we already have the back boxes or do these also need to be modified ?

You need modified GS back boxes too. I am talking to Eurospares to see if I can buy stock of them, so we can offer them as an exchange unit or straight sale for those who dont already have them.

Mightly tempted...
....looking at the larini X pipe and H pipe, I wonder why larini double skin their H pipe, and not the X?
Just a little concerned with any possible vibration/droning issues?

I have a Larini H pipe...no issues just by itself....but straight throughs do produce a drone at 2.-2.5 Ks........

I've had straight-throughs fitted and I don't notice/am not bothered by the drone. I've not done any other mods to the exhaust. I do not have X or H Pipes.

Its plenty loud enough.

I've been driving at usual motorway speeds and didn't notice "drone". Sure the exhaust was a bit more audible, but what do you expect, you've made the exhaust louder. But it wasn't that loud at all. Also I got no pressure build up in the cabin.

Really really happy with the straight throughs. The sound of that V8 is immense!

Ross,
So do you get any drone at 2 / 3K rpm, or are you always going too fast for low end revs..??
Cheers

That must be pretty standard then Frank, if you fit straight throughs on the back boxes, you get the drone, no matter what brand you fit, is that right..??

Are you going to buy some from Marios then..?? Wonder if only one of the pair of pipes was straight through, you would still get the drone..??

Ahhh, so those were from Marios and you get the drone, even though they are a better grade SS..?? They sound monumental, but it's the drone that puts me off, I wish we could find a solution and I would jump in now.

Drive through the drone! The improved sound far outweighs it.

I rarely drive at 2 - 2.5k revs for a serious duration.

Motorway speeds are at usually 2.8k and I didn't notice/was not effected by a drone. I was looking out for it as well. I also drove in a Average Speed 50mph area fir a while and didn't have a problem.

Maybe it was beginners luck?

I'm driving it again tonight, will report back if any drone.
