That was me this week. Which is surprising as Dave @39 is normally The Man. I knocked on his door to make sure he was alright...

What is this pagan festival that doth blight this land and prevent honest souls from earning a crust.
The Lords of the Manor remain behind locked doors and the sounds of merriment reverberate from the castle walls - But only a rule of 6, everyone 2m distance, face masks to be worn when visiting the toilet, everyone back home by 8pm and no nightclubs.

My offerings were too late for the trusty chariot arriving at sparrows fart, there is no one to vent my anger and dismay at the High Castle of Tandridge Council as all must “work from home” to rid this land of a plague of work-shy-itus or stay at home on full pay

Now what to do with the result of my indulgence? Has been 10 days rotting, I must wait nearly half a moon cycle before the blessed monks will visit again - I fear I must contribute to the CO2 content of the vile air I breathe

I also propitiated the Gods of Bin with gifts, to try to ward off the scourge of the scattering or the retribution of rejected items. I can only hope my offering was not scattered to the winds (or nicked by crusty jugglers) before it could be embraced by its rightful recipients.

Also, my recycling bin disappeared. I messaged ALL my neighbours, suggesting that maybe they had an extra one, and they ALL replied that they had not seen it. Yet it reappeared on my drive overnight...

Forgive me father for I have sinned, it has been three weeks since I put out my landfill or recycling bin. However I did put out the Garden one this week.

I pray forgiveness from the monks of the stench before they are likely to go on strike.

We put out the wrong bin out the other week, they knocked on the door and told us before waiting to take the correct one - St Bin has more helpful monks here than in the UK
