What a palaver to get the upgrade to ios7 like Miles it bricked the phone for a while but after a restore it seemed to work then just had to reload all the 'purchases', aps to you and me... Agree with previous comments though it does look babyish and now my Maserati wallpaper doesn't fit the icons!

Here is a tip. If anyone has a Barclays Online Banking app make sure you download the new version before installing iOS 7 or the **** thing won't work

I know banking is a bit down these days, but I was surprised to read that you can resize a bank using the iPhone camera app

This is the problem with my wallpaper now, previously the icons had a nice frame now they are not aligned...

I think they have changed the way the wallpapers work due to this movement of the background thing, so they don't line up as well as they used to. Try re-assigning and doing the move and size thing (they need to stretch the image a little so they have a few pixels extra either side so they can move the image and not have black borders, and they change the orientation on the iPad when you turn it from portrait to landscape, so it's even worse on there), but it's an imprecise art now, whereas before it was easy to get things to line up.

I'm sure there will be lots of objections to this and maybe - maybe - it will change in the future...

There is no advantage to upgrading by sounds of it

Lots of features that are useful, interface is a bite meh & requires a bit of getting use to, but the functiuonality is improved, speed a bit better.

IMO worth doing but backup & be patient as it a bit lenghty

Some of the new stuff is good, if you use calendar or mail they both feel a lot better. The notification centre thing is cool to start with and useful as well. I use the control centre all the time, turning off Bluetooth when not in the car, adjusting brightness and turning the flash on as a torch. I never used to use search on the old version, but I do now it's easier to get to. Oh, and the new photo album thing is very good, the way it organises things and shows lots of photos all at once.

Those are the things I like better, things that I use most days. The UI does disappear after a while, you get used to it. Pop down to Brent cross and have a play first to decide.

Now they have done the first 200 million upgrades in the first 3 days, I think the servers should calm down a little!

Tip: if the background moving about behind the icons makes you sick or just annoys the cr@p out of you, turn it off...

Settings, general, accessibility, reduce motion. Set it to "on"

Ahhhh, much more relaxing.

iPhone 4s don't seem to have that anyway :)
