If you were screaming redlining it then I would expect the DMS remap to make a difference. If your sprints involved more regular 'normal driving' in gear acceleration then I would expect there to be very little in it (and I have voted accordingly).

It was for this reason that I bought a custom torque-tweaked ECM from FD rather than have a generic remap from a generic supplier.

No doubt I will shortly learn, Matt, that you got 100% pwned by Dan and I could have got cheaper bang per buck from DMS! :)

The thread title may be a bit misleading; both stock GTSs DMS have done started with 470 bhp, so the DMS factor may only be 35bhp. Worth having, as is the torque, but I don't think it will make Dans car a lot quicker.

Great spot of the cop car a cpouple of seconds earlier out of the junction and he'd have thought all his chritstmasses had come at once!!! Is that the A35 onto the A326; I did that one a bit hot last summer with a fair bit of drifting involved! the trouble is the road runs out a bit quicker than you expect just a short way on...

It would seem that Maserati are under quoting or the DMS rolling road is out, either way the starting bhp of GTSs in DMSs experience is 470bhp, therefore the DMS premium is 35 bhp whatever the true output.
