For my friend you understand.
I think your "Friend" would fit in well on here, maybe you should introduce them
For my friend you understand.
Sensible question if you don’t mind.
So we have a general election, could our Labour voters give their opinion of their party and more importantly JC?
I want to know how his own supporters view his capabilities as I think the guy is an idiot.
So we are looking at a ConLib alliance...it gets worse!
Can't see that happening, arch remainers and Leavers! So we are looking at a ConLib alliance...it gets worse!
I'm an ex conservative but of the current crop I think JC comes across as having the most integrity of the bunch. Hes weak on the back foot though and doesnt have the charisma needed imo. Then again I cant think of anyone who really does although I'm not hugely in to politics.
So we are looking at a ConLib alliance...it gets worse!
Not a Labour voter, but an ex-Conservative largely due to Brexit. For me JC is not really the issue - he's well meaning (in his own way) if ineffective as a leader. However, as I see it, John McDonnell is (one of?) the brains behind JC and makes the party unelectable. His views I cannot find any way to reconcile with. There is some self-interest there, of course - he's proposed nationalising my part of my profession...Sensible question if you don’t mind.

I suspect no overall majority is the most likely outcome and a continuation of this car-crash.So we are looking at a ConLib alliance...it gets worse!
What about Sinn Fein taking their seats and a Labour/SF coalition??!!!

You now what would be odd, cos I've thought about this, bit contrived but....Shall we call that the Unicorn Alliance?
But Sinn Fein are only in NI, they could be part of a Labour coalition and push for reunification of Ireland as part of their joining. More likely than above but still remoteYou now what would be odd, cos I've thought about this, bit contrived but....
.
- Sinn Fein win a majority in the Diál.
- Sinn Fein campaign in UK generally, cos they can
- Sinn Fein garner a majority in Westminster and take up their seats...
ok, highly unlikely but it's possible SF could govern UK and Ireland at the same time - just wondering what ramifications there could be re: Brexit, EU, CTA etc...
Not sure thats correct. Im sure Sinn Fein have MPs in the Republic as well. But Sinn Fein are only in NI, they could be part of a Labour coalition and push for reunification of Ireland as part of their joining. More likely than above but still remote
You should offer to be Ambers “Chief Whip” Phil the Brit. She might be into that!Your passion seems to be boarding on an obsession
Hardly surprising, their policy changes with the wind.I was reading some analysis of the polls this morning and Labour have had a bit of a mare in terms of loss of support.
The general consensus seems to be that the Lib Dem’s are going to have a comparatively strong showing and both Lab and the Tories are going to lose votes. Whether this turns into a big swing in seats is another matter.
Sinn Fein are all-Ireland, in fact there are Sinn Fein shops all over here in Dublin, where you can buy books, posters, attire etc and round the back, rumour has it, tar-and-feathering kits and knee-capping paraphernalia. But Sinn Fein are only in NI, they could be part of a Labour coalition and push for reunification of Ireland as part of their joining.
