I'm not sure of the names of the famous five but I'll take my place. Would prefer a seat at the table of a much bigger cooler group. At least the Magnificent Seven.

Well on the M20 for the next 5 nights they will be closing it between Ashford and Leeds Castle preparing the road for Operation Brock, in the event of a No Deal Brexit. Which looks like it cannot happen.

Apparently this has cost £30m. This is only one project, I couldn't even imagine how much else has been wasted on this sh!t!
As Wattie said further up, looks like we won't be leaving, but the cost to the UK and the economy must be gargantuan.
And this has mainly been down to the greed of the likes of Farage, Rees-Mogg, Boris and all their cohorts. They should be put up on Fraud charges!

Campaign Update- SMDRP Leaving Party 29th March

SMDRP would like to remind all members that our “Magnificent Seven” themed leaving party to be held at “Le Dunkuerqe Taverna”, Ramsgate on 29th March (reopening, 30th under new management as “The Dunkirk Inn” ) IS STILL ON.

Could attendees please join the back of the queues at the front of the Taverna on arrival after parking their V8 steeds. This will in all likliehood probably mean standing on the beach for a considerable time as a number of other groups are partying the same day.

The new management has kindly arranged for a brass band to entertain us whilst we wait our turn to be seated and will be playing such SMDRP favourites as “The Great Escape theme tune” “Rule Brittania” and ”Lovely bunch of coconuts”.

I can confirm that snails, garllic, pasta, german suasage, Calamari and all other European foods have been removed from the menu due to the unfortunate allergic dietry requirements of SMDRP members.

Despite numerous requests, Boeing have yet to confirm whether their Fleet of 737Max aircraft are available for the beach flypast so I have taken it upon myself to book the following.

EXCLUSIVE ONLY to SMDRP, members. “Magnificent 7 themed Mexican table dancing entertainment” to acknowledge members loyalty and encourage further sign ups.

I have already bagsied the “head of the table” seating position, however as an incentive to others there will be a competition prize. Apparently there is a snake in the clip but I have been unable to see it despite several hundred viewing attempts.

First of our seven to correctly spot it wins their choice of remaining seating positions.

So far we’re 5, wanna join us. you know what to do http://chng.it/5jjqL7xbgp

Saddles and seats are going fast!

Finally, we are aware that a HUGE storm front is forming in Central London which is expected to head for the coast around the 28th/29th before crossing the Channel.

Members should stay tuned for updates.

Wolfie, “Power to the people” Bumper stickers are in the post and should be applied to V8 steeds prior to travelling to Ramsgate.

Toodle Pip chaps, carry on.

I've just seen on Twitter the best post that sums up this whole Brexit mess.

The fact is, that the remain side is the biggest as there is only one version of that.

Perfectly put. How many different sides of leave are there?
Only 1, it was clearly on the ballot paper but a remainer Pm with a soft remain agenda and the HOP remainers chose to interpret that vote differently,
Next comment
“And this has mainly been down to the greed of the likes of Farage, Rees-Mogg, Boris and all their cohorts. They should be put up on Fraud charges”
They weren’t responsible for the deal negotiated by our Pm. If you listen to the critism of her, she ploughed on alone ignoring the advice of all all others, even the legal advice. TWICE!!!!!!!!!
I’d go further than fraud, treason to the country and the electorate is what we’re looking at......

This is the thing thought Wattie.

Some want to leave with a no deal Brexit.
Lots would rather stay than a no deal Brexit.
Some want a WTA Brexit.
Some want May's deal (granted not many).

There are too many variants. Would it not be better to have a consultation and stick the choices on a ballot paper and let people decide what they want from the choices?
There was never any plan to leave which is appalling.

Better to put the brakes on it all. Consult with the public. Narrow down the options and let them decide, then at least the Prime Minister (whoever that may be) can got back to the EU and negotiate knowing she or he has the will of the nation.

Disagree, if we start ignoring democratic results our elected Mp’s promised to uphold, the Uk is finished. It’s like a marriage, trust goes, nothing else exists. Pointless.
So,
No deal is still on the table.....and our PM said that was better than a bad deal in a manifesto!
It’s certainly better than her deal!
Enforce it, the Eu is ******.

She invoked A50 with Mps....with a promise to respect it.
She didn’t believe it, neither did remainer mps and it has caused this mess.
Redeem youselves.

Agree as long as any new referendum vote says
No deal.
Or
Mays deal
That’s it. No other option.

Remainer loser/lier mp’s wanna rule this out....they don’t want to leave despite being elected on a promise to enforce such.
This respects the result of the first vote and ignores the betrayal attempts to ignore such.

The PM had the will of the nation 2 years ago and betrayed it, we aren’t gonna trust her again.

By the way, The EU will never negotiate with anyone wishing to leave so they won’t let us have a deal/extension if they think it will be against their interests.
Those clued up know this as I said 300posts before.

What annoys me is she’s always banging on about and end to freedom of movement because that’s what 17.4m people voted for but where did it say that on the referendum slip? It just said leave the EU - nothing else.

She and Brexiteers can argue that’s what it means but it doesn’t! If you take that view then all sorts of could haves, should haves and would haves can inferred.

The vote was leave the EU, which doesn’t preclude EFTA or sone other in it but out of it solution.

That’s clear then.....I’ve read it at least six times and still don’t have a clue:f7:

Well put Mark
It is not well put, we had options to vote on and
The result was clear. Leave.
That’s what the Uk voted for.......not remain.
A or b
So it was remainers trying to dilute “leave” by Norway, Norway plus, Canada etc May surrender plus Mk1, Mk II and possibly Mk III and their interpretation that has led to this mess.

Said it before,. If the UK stays I’ll be far better off (exchange rates) but if it’s under Mays deal you”ll in time realise, eu’re screued which is why we all voted leave.
