The second one looks like it would fit if its the correct diameter and width. If it fits do let us know.

As for which one looks better I would not bother about that a nobody is going to see it....unless you run them over and I would suspect, 'hum, nice X pipe' would be the last thing on their mind

Here's a question... if you can buy an X pipe for $30, why does Larini charge $700 for theirs??

Sure it's a designed fit and bolt on, but surely there isn't $670 difference in what you get is there?

Mainly cos they use a better grade S/S....better designed, plus they do a nice etching of larini on it like on the H pipe?!

Resonance in the cabin is all down to the thickness and shape of the steel used. If these £30 x pipes work well, it's a real bargain, they're usually £200-300.

For £30 I would just get it and see what difference if any it makes and if no difference just sell it..!!

Larini use 316 S/S and some others use 304 S/S.

It would be a suck it and see..?? If the diameter of the pipe is the same and it is round, then there should not be a problem. The thinner the steel the more likelehood there will be a bit more resonanace.

316 S/S has a higher corrosion resistance than 304 S/S, but the thickness of the metal is also important.

MIJ do the second one, they are well know in the trade, £30, just get one.

If anyone does, and it fits well, can you tell them to keep the jig as we could probably shift loads on here.
