Morning all - it's a bit damp here, half way up Julier Pass - but forecast to improve (tho' possibly some snow for the mountains around St Moritz). We may take a little detour to an interesting lake - pics look nice - apparantly there is considerable evidence of pre-historic man in the area (we got chatting with some archeologists also staying here last night). Then it's a 45mile/1.5hour drive via the Maloja Pass to our apartment near Chiavenna half way between Lake Como and the Splugen Pass .

Morning from a sunny Italy half way between Lake Como and Splugen pass. Feeling a bit delicate from a bit too much delicious Alps Flix made fruits of the mountains brain killer juice - sedation was needed to overcome fear prompted by Maloja pass so we're forgetting an attempt on Splugen and going for a mellow jaunt around Lake Como (plus a bit of hand car washing) - at least that's the current thinking........

Good morning everyone from La Sarthe...I'm glad to day we're all still alive and resting in our respective gites. Waking up to birds tweeting at 8am is far better than chainsaws.
Anyhoo, today's agenda is breakfast, rest lunch of a Croque Monsieur and a pit lane walk. Then more beer and a barbecue.
