Home now after a great week away. No real drama on return apart from waiting for our luggage longer than normal but was expecting this. Right need to book another holiday now as got the taste for it back.

Morning from a comfortable and quiet B&B 2 mins from The Chunnel (recommended - apart maybe from the mile to the pub - nice walk as it didn't rain!!). Off to the middle of no-where (apart from our B&B plus dinner) between Beaumont and Philippville and 20 miles north of Chimay (great beer!!)

Good morning all. Last day off today and as always after a week off the first day I have a lie-in. Have a good week all.

It's a good morning from the Ardennes in an amazing place - great jacuzzi bath!! and very pretty scenary. Then hitting the N40 for Luxembourg and petrol - petrol €2.40/l in Belgium - and on to near Saarbrucken. We've stayed there before and looking forward to a water bed........
