A very good Saturday morning to all. Relaxing day today as do the chores yesterday. No alcohol either as up early tomorrow as we are all off the BTCC at Silverstone.

It's beautiful here this morning a nice mist to start and now the sun is out it hit 28° yesterday.
Espresso machine has been fired up and coffee in bed for Ms French.
Cars to wash and paint some more shutter's for me.

Ran the gauntlet at the petrol station this morning to fill up the diseasal as it was breathing fumes. I must say it was unnerving to see all the queues and also the petrol stations that were closed.

Morning all, looks a dry day so more outdoor jobs planned. The roof panels for car port haven't arrived yet so will more on to painting the front of the house.

Good morning all…Off to Silverstone for BTCC in half an hour. It will be great to see live motorsport again after all this time. Dug out the lanyards we were given in our Maserati factory tour so still flying the flag.

They must have been short of cash when you went Matt as the chap said we could keep them. But it was only us 4 and him on the tour so perhaps he was grateful he had someone to walk around.

On this day, 2 years ago, we drove from Sienna to Modena for the Pagani Tour and the Panini Collection. Oh, and you missed a race on the Futa Pass.

Went to car thing on a local village green yesterday. Good turn out of cars (a few drop-outs due to fuel) but it lacked the warmth, humility and pish-taking of any SM event.



The 720S tuned to 840 brake with virtually straight through pipes proved that Maccas can sound good. But still not a patch on the little Vantage or any Maser ever.
