Morning all. Decided as things have been a bit manic lately, I thought I’d take the day off.
Have just got up! Bliss.

Will jump on Zwift in a bit for an hour and then got and choose some paint for Joseph’s room this afternoon.

Nice easy day.

Good morning all.....Work is very quite....We measure our deliveries as tonnage. So today we should be delivering 300 tonnes of alcohol which is around 35 lorries and 70 drivers delivering to the trade but it's come is at 26 tonnes. This is 3 vehicles and 6 drivers.........The busiest time of year it is not......Fully understand and get that this is life and death but feel sorry for Pubs that will not weather this.

Morning everyone!
A day of trying to play the game of applying for scientific grants for 'innovation'. I'm not hopeful that we'll be awarded any, but if we are successful then it's effectively free investment.
Other than that, winter tyres went on the Merc yesterday. I'm looking forward to feeling the car's handling more through them.
HapPea Thursday!

That's a **** of a blow, Andy.

WFH today, trying to get the exercise bike fixed and hopefully catching up on a couple of the discussions of late.

Have a good one, all

Good morning everyone, I feel your pain Andy, whilst early December isn't the busy end of the month we're just scraping by on 55 flights today. Its up slightly on November but this is a business designed to run on ten times more. Hopefully 2021 will be better.

Morning all, today is Poets day for me as have a cheeky long weekend planned.

That's a big drop Andy but similar across lots of the hospitality area, surprisingly our stores reopened on Tuesday and sales are through the roof we even had to turn on the queuing system just to get in, most of the sales high end luxury and gifting almost of the people with money have decided to have a blowout and buy all the stuff they haven't been able to for weeks. This is on top of the Digital channel doing over double its yearly target which itself was 40% higher than the previous year.

Morning all. WFH today as Alex has to work on site today (she sells new homes/developments) so I'm working in her office whilst the plasterers do Joseph's bedroom, a lounge wall and the hallway.

Will try and get on Zwift this afternoon when they're done as I have 313 miles to hit my 2,500 mile target for the year.

Not Italian is it mate ?
Morning all and nearly the weekend.
Ms French didn't work yesterday the weather was dire and we decided not worth going out.
She's off today and hopefully score some sales.
My highlight is putting the bin out.
Stay Safe all.

I don't know. It's got a one way bearing in the flywheel, and a drive shaft that goes in there. Sadly the one way bearing is not so one way any more :( I might have been able to knock it out and find one, but no idea if the drive shaft is in spec. And I would have had to take the other side out and then source a new one, knock that in and somehow lock it. £118 for a new flywheel and drive seemed a 'reasonable' alternative.

Best of luck to Mrs French. Sounds a bit soul destroying :( Take care, fella

Challenging times, Andy. Good luck, matey, Likewise to Mme French, Phil.

Dropped the car Vantage off for its annual service, MoT and infotainment upgrade yesterday. It was nice to get out, even if not for much of a thrash. It'll nice to get it back as well, not so much the invoice. Still, I can console myself that despite having hardly used my car this year I've still done 2x the mileage of Peter's GS.

Today, button bashing. Tap tap, tappety tap whack, crash, thunk and ******* work you stupid *******, will be the noises coming from my office today. Also 'slurp'. Bugger of a sleep and today, since the meth ran out, I shall mostly be powered by coffee.

Morning all. (Just).

WFH today, well, a bit of work, and that's it.
Did 25 miles on Zwift first thing. Going to clear moss from the guttering, and then take it easy for the rest of the day.
Lovely!
