Morning All,
Some painting, trip to the local recycling centre and a walk round the farmers market, maybe some F1 in there too.
Have a good day.

Good morning all still on Coffee here and certainly going to be a lazy day and grilling some meats in the chimney for lunch.
An afternoon of binging on Britbox watching good old British TV.
Stay Safe all.

You're ahead of us, Andy. It's a pea-souper out there. Well, more of a light consommé, but you get the idea. It's also bloody cold, so I'm once again grateful to be staying in. I'll go out for a gallop later to stretch my frame out. According to my diary, today only includes 7 calls, and as 4 of them overlap I'm down to just five. As one is (yet another) contract review and negotiation with some South Americans, I'm already assuming that the day will nevertheless be home to several surprises, u-turns or other good-natured fuckery.

I also need to make time to collect some new floorboards to make good the floors in a couple of bedrooms before new carpets go down a week today. I need to take some scheduling tips from Newton.

And so the week begins.

Nah; I'm hopeless at scheduling things, tend to go bull in china shop mode most of the time!

Morning all. WFH today Was going to go into the office but one of Alex's colleagues has come down with Covid symptoms.
However, instead of booking into the nearest test centre she's ordered a postal one.
Sounds like she's after a few days off work. Especially when all the local drive in centres have plenty of capacity.

As Alex was with her on Thursday I'm doing the decent thing and staying in. Just in case. Alex has just gone off to get a test at a drive through place.

This morning I have sanded the holes in Joseph's bedroom's walls ready for paint later.
And found a loads of very dubious hole filling by the previous owners. So a bit more filling, to be done.

If I find time I'll also get on the bike in the garage. Far to cold to go outside for a fair-weather cyclist like myself.

Pheasant madras curry sounds bloody gorgeous. Even for breakfast.

Morning, all. Yesterday's fog cleared overnight, thankfully. It was a cold, perma-damp day yesterday, but happily today is looking much brighter. A day of calls and contract lies ahead, plus I need to get out to pick up some floorboards. I've a sneaky suspicion that however many I get won't quite be enough.

Right, back at it. Stay cool, all.
