Sod it... station car took a stone to its AC condenser with a big green stain dead center to the rad... £400 for a new one fitted and re-gassed... not too bad but 20% the cars worth.

Morning all...Extra hour in bed this morning. Off to Ebbw Vale today for consultation meetings for redundancy....Sadly a casualty of Covid....Tougher times ahead I feel. Never nice conversations to have with colleagues but worse for them.

Morning all, ah cr@p Andy, hope you get some reward for you efforts through these times. I’m up and have the GS out of the garage ready to head to Redditch to see a man about some custom manifolds and pipes!!!

Have fun all...

Gone are the days where you could have a chat with the postman or postwoman , sign of things to come

View attachment 70940

Not here, our Postman Pat (yes that is his name), drives round the back and if Sarah's car is here he either opens the back door calls and leaves the post on the side or if she is in the kitchen he knocks on the window hands it to her and has chat. He also picks up bread and milk from the local shop for the old lady next door.

Order has to be kept or ordinary citizens suffer , of course these people in the video were that desperate to steal trainers to feed the mouths of their starving kids

There will always be some who, during any demonstration, take the opportunity to act like selfish idiots. That shouldn't render the point of the demonstration void.

This is a very important matter. Thinking it exists in the US alone would be a mistake.

Unfortunately, as the "Leader" of the Western World, their actions have an impact of the West globally. The MeToo campaign being evidence of that.

Whilst you may not realise that racism is an issue here as as well as the US, it's probably because you're white. Structural advantages are often invisible to those who benefit from them. It's easier to just see the negatives, no matter how minute they are.

Let me assure you we have our problems here, and if what's being done in the US raises awareness in the UK, then it's only a positive in my eyes.

If demonstrations didn't exist, we'd still have Apartheid, voting would be for landowners/men only, and we wouldn't have a Parliament...and instead we'd all be PLEBS living in Feudal England! I'd rather not be a pleb. :)

Been there and had the TShirt Andy when I had my CPC , drivers that have always gone the extra mile without whining are the ones you feel for most , not an enviable task today thoughts will be with you mate but the company must survive

Morning. Exciting day today, my new John Deere arrives! I cleared some fields last year and have been borrowing one from the farm next door but have finally bought one now after pushing the boundaries of "neighbourly" to the limit. It has wheels and an engine therefore I like it!

Can you send me the specs of the pump. I might be able to find a home for it for you.
