Hmm, if we update technology to USB stick or SSD drives, do you think that'll work? ;)

This year I have placed special netting sleeves over the limbs of our cherry trees to keep the rooks off... in two seasons we have only had a single cherry afrer the pesky birds ate the rest.

One of our plum trees looks to be dangerously laden. Going to have to support some of the branches

Hang a couple of dead rooks from the trees. That keeps them away. It looks macabre as ****, but works.

Another top tip, @conaero . If you want to keep your house cool, keep the windows and curtains closed all day to stop the sun from warming it up. Open them in the evening to freshen up a bit (if the day has cooled down enough).

Bon chance, Phil!

Morning, all. Er, that's it. I'm all done with good advice. Don't forget to hang dead rooks in your windows. The girls love it.

Morning all. Another day of doing not a lot.

Getting a bit bored of it now to be honest. And to make matters worse, we've been told our house is unlikely to be finished before April next year! :too_sad:

Might be time to start looking at one that's already been built!

I feel for you Loz; I needed a stopcock key to turn the water off in the front garden last month and placed my hand on it in the garage (on top of an RSJ over the window), hadn't seen or used it in probably 20 years! No point in housing worthless cr@p though and letting the polished beauty sit outside going rusty!

I've been using Freecycle for some stuff clearance. It's amazing what people will take if it's free. I still have to get rid of my old VHS Tape collection, some decent old films on there which are all now on Prime or Netflix, but nobody wants them. Now if i said Debbie does Dallas, I'm sure some old bloke in a mac will be round straight away...

Good Morning everyone, working from home today, seems like ages since I did this. Nice lie in for once. Have a good day, it's going to get hot.

We have the same problem with both our Gooseberry bushes.................I loose every year and end up buying them from Sainsbury's!!

Does it scare the little birds away too? The children are quite enjoying spotting its just the blooming noise those rooks make
