Morning. Exciting day today, my new John Deere arrives! I cleared some fields last year and have been borrowing one from the farm next door but have finally bought one now after pushing the boundaries of "neighbourly" to the limit. It has wheels and an engine therefore I like it!
Need pictures!

Morning all. Work of sorts this morning.

Nip to the shops to get a few bits in prep for Alex's birthday tomorrow.
Can't organise anything as we can't go anywhere.

Not here, our Postman Pay (yes that is his name), drives round the back and if Sarah's car is here he either opens the back door calls and leaves the post on the side or if she is in the kitchen he knocks on the window hands it to her and has chat. He also picks up bread and milk from the local shop for the old lady next door.
Same up here (Cumbria)...

Morning all

Typically the bad weather has arrived when I was planning on doing a BBQ. I've had my ribs in the sous vide for 16hrs, so should be pretty nice when I put them on the BBQ later (as long as it's not peeing down)

Fingers crossed the weather improves

GS due home from storage today... maybe first drive since Sept if it stays dry.
Need to collect the Saab too after a new AC condenser fitted.
Hopefully get the results of the sealed bidds for the ajoning field as well today and also price for the green oak garage.

Suspect I will be skint by COP today.

Good luck with the land purchase. Sealed bids always a bit stressful!
I recently tried to buy some neighbouring land but lost out to the billionaire Lord Rothermere. They obviously thought he was a better bet, even though my bid was higher. Well more fool them - when the Covid crisis started he withdrew his offer. And now of course, they’ve come back to me, but I’m not prepared to offer as much as I was a few months ago when the World was a very different place...

Word on the street is property prices will tumble by 12% , time to take advantage and sell high and buy low , well that's my strategy , hopefully I'm told our situation is sought after ,god knows why being close to to train station used to be frowned upon
