Morning all, never got to the Maserati yesterday so I hope to make up for it today.

It was lovely to spend most of the day cuddling the baby.

Have fun all...

Morning everyone.
Not happea today as I have to start sorting the mess from some idiot cutting me up on a motorway slip road when she decided she wanted to remain on the m25, was two lanes away from it and the slip road was now separated from the motorway by white chevrons.
Oh well.

Morning all, blowing a hoolie here overnight both Carcoons need some attention to the fans, they are designed to be flexible and replaceable but when the cartoon gets battered they can move which reduces air flow, a bit of gaffer tape is normally all that's required.

Girls off to be inducted into the biggest Irish religion, no not the church GAA

A very windy Hertfordshire this morning, glad I decided to take the GTS down to Matt yesterday.

Am a little worried about my daughter having to driver from Bradford to Hertforshire today in her little Fiat 500, roads will be a mess and some people will still drive like its a beautiful calm summers day.

I’d really try and persuade her not too. It’s unbelievably windy here in Worcestershire.

They fixed the power here at 8pm. Temporary fix and nothing to do with the weather, just our house, something’s gone bang in the street. At least we managed to use the last 5 years of daft Christmas present candles, down side is the house now smells like Lush.

I'd avoid the driving as well. There are trees down, and currently my Webber is considering relocation in the neighbour's garden!

Morning, all. Bit blowy today, innit? After a superb couple of days and phenomenally good eating (Bombay Brasseries and J Sheekey's) in town it's time to return to the country. Thankfully we didn't get the train, because today there aren't any. We shall instead hoist the storm sail on the Fiat 500 ( a superb city car!) and get blown home.

I have tried - but she is a newly qualified teacher and insists she has to come home today for work tomorrow. I like the work ethic (get it from me) but not if it puts her at unnecessary risk. I have added her boyfriend to the insurance this morning so they can share the drive ...... slow and steady - no rush and keep away from lorries !

I've been on the phone to my insurers, Aviva, and it turns out that the Olivia's (the naughty, but very cute perpetrator) car is also insured with them. It's on a motor trade policy so she wouldn't have been able to report it over the weekend however, if there are any issues with her being insured, because it's motor trade they would be liable anyway and there's no chance of uninsured problems for me. The only thing is whether she'll admit full fault. It would seem sensible for her to do so. As it's all in-house between the two parties there'll be no delay in them being able to confirm to me if she was deemed at fault and there's clearly no point me trying to go through her insurer before my own as that's not possible.
Repair is also booked.

My village in Cumbria this morning! Flooding all over the Eden Valley. Peak wind speed at Stainmore this morning ( just up the road from me) was 97mph. Nuts...
