One pulled out next to where I was having lunch yesterday...brief sprint to the lights with a lovely bellow...but far too load with the crackles and pops on the run off as be slowed for the lights.

Wonder if they will hold their value...AT first maybe but then it depends on how many they plan to make....

Went to test drive a V8S today and it was really very good. Quite similar in character to my spyder but; smoother drivetrain, quicker gear changes, more gears (8) and a more refined interior. However, it wasn't much quicker than mine, it had a fair bit more wind buffet and a much smaller boot. Things have moved on a lot in the automotive world in the last 10 years but, hand on heart, I wouldn't swap one for mine. They had the new coupe in as well, it arrived this morning and it was the first one out to a dealer. Very nice indeed. The boot lid however, opens from the top not the side like the E Type. Otherwise it was just the same as the photos on the previous page. A great day out but the drives to and from the dealership were a lot more fun and more than a little outrageous!

I don't know about you guys but I just couldn't see myself driving a Jag by choice and paying with my own money!

Sure if you were given a freebee on a company scheme ok....where I live you'd have to drive it with a full face helmet complete with black visor..

Give me Italian elegance anytime!

Absolutely! However, in 3 years I reckon they will be down towards £30-35k and, for that, they would be fantastic value for money. I could see myself in one and if anything catastrophic happens to my spyder, you guys might see me in one too!

Dead on there Ben...so a three year old hi tech F type Jag Super Barge is worth less than a nice "Italian" 1969 Alfa 1750 GTV...

How things have come on!

There you go, rust isn't always a bad thing; it is in your car but not if it's in somebody else's! :)

It is, it's got an E Type look about it. The side opening tailgate would have been the icing on the cake. However, it does have a £450 electric self lowering soft-close option on the tailgate which is very neat. Apparently the coupe boot is twice as big as the rag-top's.
