Do you..........I think they are making it look like a Jag to be honest.....Can not see the Maserati bit.........The Coupe does have a lot of style and something Maserati needs to think about in the sector as it moved away from this area when the GT came out.......It left a hole in the range where the GS was and needs a car quick to fill that hole.....The new small QP will help but I still think they are missing a trick not having a mid range Coupe...You never know the small QP may have a Coupe offspring.

Waiting to see one of these on the drive next door as he works as a salesman for Jaguar...I will ask for a drive, and like the look so far, as Andy says it the small coupe Maserati are missing at the moment.

Just lovely, if they give it enough!! Go.... in the engine bay it will be a winner, absolutely no doubt,, I suspect many on here will own one in time.. especially if maserati continue to lose their way... in product range or use non ferrari components.. The GS is still the most rounded car they have produced to date for me.

This is a very interesting comment for me. I'm not a hardcore Maserati fan, in fact I'm not really a car fan at all but hearing a GT and then seeing it was one of those "I have to have one" moments. I don't like the look of the QP, the GS, the 4200 or 3200, I only like the GT and I'm in two minds about the GT Sport and it's Stradalesque frontage. I'm not a big enough fan of the marque to understand how they've lost their way but without the GT I'd not be in the market for one and I wouldn't be on the forum.

Andy,
My only reason for saying that, was that if you take a quick glance at the front of the "F" and take the badge off, the front grille and general appearance, at a glance, is very much like a Maser front. As I have just sold my Jag I am obviously a Jag fan, as well as a Maser fan. As Ozzie says, if they put enough under the hood to make it viable, the car could be a winner.

Am terribly sorry to say guys....but thats straight out of the...."Lets copy everyone elses design school"

Little of no Jag DNA in it...........they need to set it apart and stick with their own styling cues.

Dissappointed

Frank,
I have to agree to some extent, although the design team are the same for the Aston I believe, as seen in the later XK series. There are lot's of cars that now look very much like each other, it's getting to the stage where a real new look is quite a rare thing.
Cheers
