Before you splurge £400 on a Larini, Nick...

All - does anyone know if there is a scrap of difference between a forum X-pipe and a Larini? FD will tell you that the Larini's shape is optimally balanced and tuned to ensure the sounds is just as perfect as possible. But all our x's sounds pretty amazing, too. And look the same. And are made of the same material. Is the Larini really worth 2x the price?

Where do you get a forum x-pipe out of interest?

X is more raspy/Ferrari and the H is deeper, more Nascar.

I am running the H at present but think the X makes a nicer tuned sound and more back pops and crackles as it smashes the gasses into each other.

I just love the tone of the H but am going X with the Larini Sports cats just to see if I can learn to love it. If not the X goes and H remains.

You need to hear mine ;) it sounds bloody fantastic, I really don't think it needs to be any louder either, obviously I don't have the benefit of closing the valves but it's fine even on motorway
