Brexit Deal

Because it's just brinkmanship now.

We either leave with no deal. Or we don't leave.

I can't see anything else happening. No one in the UK wants a hard border between ROI and NI.
That is non negotiable to anyone old enough to remember what the IRA did.

The EU can't or won't see past that so what's left?

I think even the most hardened Brexiter would rather remain than have the IRA pick up their weapons again.
The member from remaintown is factually incorrect.
Please comment,
i'll give way

Except for the fact that the backstop is a technical and operational solution as an insurance. The EU negotiators worked on the line we the U.K. proposed...and no you’re not being a simpleton. Remember We the U.K. are the ones who asked to leave.
The member is correct, We (May) did indeed propose it......and it was not required. Another card magnificently (7) played. Imbicile.
Your other statement is incorrect "We the U.K. are the ones who asked to leave"

No, We told them we were leaving, HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Unlike Mays deal - we did not vote to leave, to allow the EU to vote on allowing that!!

Has the penny dropped yet?

I'll give way ( another cuddle too)

Sobering though don’t you think?:D or am I just not believing enough. Why wouldn’t I listen to the people actually doing the jobs and know what they are talking about....
Can the member confirm whether this applies to MP's too?
I'll give way

There’s some airy fairy language in the Good Friday agreement that can be interpreted as a commitment by all sides to allow freedom of movement between NI and the Republic. There’s no power of law behind this and it didn’t actually mention border controls specifically either.

If we went down the WTO route it says that all countries should be treated equally so if we have a hard border with China we must have one with Ireland. If we don’t another member of the WTO would have to bring a formal complaint against us with the WTO and go down a long process that may never amount to anything.

A friend of a friend of my wife plays the ‘system’. She’s got 4 kids, never worked a day in her life, her house is paid for, she has three holiday a year, and get this, she had a boob job done for free as her boobs were making her depressed after having 4 kids!!!!:mad::mad:
Unfortunately this is the way of the world these days...if you know how to play the system.

For me, I’d rather have nothing than rely on others to make up for my shortcomings.

Members of the House

It would appear that having failed to appreciate the strategy involved in Poker, our Snap expert has now discovered another game.

“Pairs”- with the Labour Party.
Having paricipated in this thread for a while this will no doubt be excellent news to many of you. Not. He has more power now than any other leader of the opposition in years! Terrific.

Well I for “uno” am about to snap as I have now lost my “patience” having consumed several bottles of “gin rummy”coctail. I am “spit”ing mad that those who voted leave have been “cheat”ed out of our vision.

We now need to “hunt the....woman” down. This Pm has betrayed conservative voters, her partys manifesto and now I believe destroyed the Tory party. She is about to break 17.4m leave voters "hearts" via an attempted wishy washy pretend we're leaving deal that she will declare Brexit. She ignored once again the advice of her cabinet (14 of them, the majority/ only 10 sided with her!!!!) who told her to keep "No Deal" on the table.

This Manchrian Candidate Pm has been complicit in aiding the Eu to "Strip (union) Jack naked!" We are now being dictated to by the Eu and are a TOTAL LAUGHING stock. This is treasonous and there is a “freecell” in the bloody tower for her to spend some time in “solitaire”y. If we are lucky she may do the honourable thing and jump off London "bridge"

If the incompetence of this woman is not apparent to you all now it is clear that all she is doing is “shuffling”, no doubt losing all her cards in the process. Unfortunately I am not laughing my bottom off.

No May is better than a bad May, and now we have Corbyn too.

Incredibly she wants any new deal by the "pair" "to agree the current withdrawal agreement” and to be part of the non legally binding future agreement- that the EU can then ignore.

Total BUFFOON.
Once again, in case you missed it It doesnt have to https://www.sportsmaserati.com/index.php?threads/brexit-deal.27598/post-687306
of course, but then again she has no Man plums. Just a
4998.gif

So basically her new strategy is the same as the old one, but involves more incompetents.

I’ll give way, I need to check my blood pressure.

Wattie, do you have to post eight times in a row, can't you say it eloquently in one post.
I think you have more than got your point across.
Just my 2 cents.

I hear the member, i did say it eloquently, very JRM like actually, in one post but umpteen chose to ignore it......using their incorrect understanding of the situation as as continued argument.
One did read it RWC13 (a remainer!) who agreed!
I was simply informing members directly of what the Eu had ACTUALLY said and asked them to respond.

Just my tuppence, I hate euro's and cents.

I'll give way.

Once these types have kids they're beyond reproach, probably find it's somewhere in ECHR

Oh why, oh why, oh why can’t we go back to a simpler, more binary, rose tinted time when we didn’t have to use our brains. :D:lol::lol2:
