This is all a nonsense, people are just blowing steam off with opinions, it seems so long ago now the vote was held to see if we should leave or remain, the choice was that simple!
At no time did the same question involve any reliance on the **** that’s going on because they got a result the government of the day didn’t expect.
We all know the result, people on the losing side feel aggrieved just GET OVER IT and move on!
As for the 2 & 1/2 years of doom and gloom by various experts who don’t really know there arses from their elbows, well forget all that nonsense it’s propoganda, ultimately the result of the referendum just has to be respected!

Does anyone remember the millennium bug? my god the world was going to end, planes were going to fall from the skies, people on life support machines were going to die etc etc, the “experts” told us, were they right then? No
Are they right now? No on knows, I’ll say that again “no one knows”
Only when we get there (if we ever do), that’s when we will be able to say what the outcome was, and only then! Let’s just get on with it!

Just my opinion btw!

I am entitled to one.....
And an excellent one from the member. If democratic votes are ignored we're all in trouble! Why hold any more ever again?
Some on here have quoted dangers of Far right parties etc At least you know what they stand for rightly or wrongly.
We have a Government/MPs that invite a vote, promise repeatedly to enforce it and then appears to do all that they can to avoid such.
Thats a pretty "Extreme and dangerous" form of governing IMO.

Ill give way

Members of the house,
It’s good to see the British army apologising for firing at a Jeremy Corbyn poster for target practice.
“It demonstrated a serious error of judgment”, an Army chief has said.
Brigadier Nick Perry said the Army was taking the matter "extremely seriously" and would fully investigate. “The video shows totally unacceptable behaviour that falls far below the behaviour that we expect," he said. They will, from now on, use Theresa May posters instead.

Wattie, I may not always share your points of view, but I do share your taste in avatars...

I hope and pray that we don't end up needing them, there is a distinct possibility of things turning ugly.
Like every Saturday in France at the major cities, with the yellow vest brigade, this is old news but still happens every weekend.

I sometimes wonder what happened to the bus and if it went for a £300k scrap loss like Boris’ riot water cannon, Whatever happened to the garden bridge project he proposed and a £50 odd million bill to the tax payer. Crikey Boris we could have made a bit of an NHS donation with that money no?

Isn’t that what the new ULEZ will pay for

Nah I think it’ll be alright..Jasst don’t lose any sleep over it, we are a civilised bunch. Not all Brexiteers are unreasonable, some of the most reasonable people I know voted for it. If you believe it was the ‘older generation’ that voted leave then I can’t imagine a bunch of geriatrics and retired people with Zimmer frames causing too much of a riot (tongue firmly in cheek).

I’ve been closely watching and listening the words, language and rhetoric now being used by some in the ERG..they are now just starting to use words and phrases that are passive aggressive and that appeal to the extremes, which also tries to legitimise and embolden the far right to garner their support, create divisions within MP’s with “fear of rioting” or “if the will/ vote isn’t respected”etc, etc. Basically a fear tactic to pressure people/ MP’s.

With that I’m not in the least bit worried about because, since when did her majesty’s government pander to extremism or for them to dictate the policy of our country. We are not a dictatorship nor 1940’s Nazi Germany. We are a boisterous multicultural and multifaceted nation simply exercising our democracy and testing it’s limits. People can and do change their mind.:D
