Even if they weren't it would be from the left pocket to the right.Yes but they are exempt!
I remember black cabs being a big problem in the past but again exempt, even if they were decades oldDoesn't the majority of the particulates come from London buses?
Democracy isn't just voting. It's the ability to freely argue for or against the status quo, the party in power, to petition, show dissent, protest or call out the politician power as weak, ineffective or tyrannical.I don't quite understand the modern interpretation of the word democracy. So a democracy is a democracy at the time of voting but when the sole voted entity is in power the little Khant can do what he likes when he likes and is answerable to nobody.
I know we can't have a referendum on ever decision but surely a better system is required to stop little Khant's running a mock with unlimited cash or unlimited ways to generate it.
We all know that the current proposal is heavily flawed in its design, interpretation and delivery. Yet it still will likely march ahead and deliver little to nothing of what it is supposed to or needs to. Smoke and mirrors.
I'd like to know the stats on pollution from the public transport that is in place now and will remain after. Why tackle the minority that achieves little when the elephant in the room surely is the failure to tackle the majority polluters.
Very true. Still doesn't seem to achieve much though. Well short of a criminal record, prison or forging a change in the law.Democracy isn't just voting. Something the Mods should be aware of...
It will if you have a long memory when it comes to voting time...hence why the people in the UK keep on voting Labour/Conservatives in....Very true. Still doesn't seem to achieve much though. Well short of a criminal record, prison or forging a change in the law.

Just heard on the news that Blair (war criminal in some quarters) and William Vague are calling for Digital IDs....1984.
And your post lead me to thisJust heard on the news that Blair (war criminal in some quarters) and William Vague are calling for Digital IDs....1984.
"Don't you know who I am? Who am I? How did I get here?"In this we are aligned. (Although the 1984 bit is oft overplayed) There should be no circumstance at all where I, as a free citizen, should be required to prove who I am at the behest of the authorities, unless there is significant cause to believe I am guilty of some offence. In which case feel free to arrest me.
(Note ID NOT proof of entitlement before people start talking about driving licences and passports.....)
