ULEZ is expanding

Yes but they are exempt!
Even if they weren't it would be from the left pocket to the right.

Busses run 24/7 and there are lots of them. I ride my bike to work most days through the centre and I know full well I don't want to be stuck behind one.

ULEZ has been in operation in Central London for some time now. The honest thing would be to share any benefits it had there. But its doubtful there were any.

I also don't like the way Sadiq is arguing about it in public, like "how many excess deaths can we tolerate as society". Well did the excess deaths dropped at all in Central London?
Would he be prepared to take it back and resign if the "excess deaths" don't fall after the M25 implementation?

I don't quite understand the modern interpretation of the word democracy. So a democracy is a democracy at the time of voting but when the sole voted entity is in power the little Khant can do what he likes when he likes and is answerable to nobody.

I know we can't have a referendum on ever decision but surely a better system is required to stop little Khant's running a mock with unlimited cash or unlimited ways to generate it.

We all know that the current proposal is heavily flawed in its design, interpretation and delivery. Yet it still will likely march ahead and deliver little to nothing of what it is supposed to or needs to. Smoke and mirrors.

I'd like to know the stats on pollution from the public transport that is in place now and will remain after. Why tackle the minority that achieves little when the elephant in the room surely is the failure to tackle the majority polluters.

Democracy isn't just voting. It's the ability to freely argue for or against the status quo, the party in power, to petition, show dissent, protest or call out the politician power as weak, ineffective or tyrannical.

Something the Mods should be aware of...

I’ve had confirmation back from Maserati in Modena that my car ‘conforms to 1999/102/CE Law and therefore is compliant with Euro 3 emission level’. That confirms my car is not exempt, pretty much as expected.

I have to say I was impressed by the customer service from Maserati. Very quick responses, polite and informative emails, all for a car they sold 20 years ago.

Very true. Still doesn't seem to achieve much though. Well short of a criminal record, prison or forging a change in the law.

Free speech in full effect

It will if you have a long memory when it comes to voting time...hence why the people in the UK keep on voting Labour/Conservatives in....

Typical Labour, control the masses. Never understand why socialism calls for this. National ID cards were a big vote loser for Gordon Brown other than his ineptitude.

Can we really arzed to fight this stuff , I can remember a time when the first Gaztco camera,s came out , some people all over the country either burned or spray painted them and eventually most of them died a death as it became increasingly costly to repair or replace them , I may or may not have been one of those people that sprayed them heat resistant black , eventually they returned higher smaller and in more numbers than ever and soon had become a profit making business ..................its up to us as drivers do something about it that could lead to making a difference , It doesnt scare me it baffles me ....................i dont have any social credits ....................i dont want any social credits so what i dont have they cant take away buuugrum

Just heard on the news that Blair (war criminal in some quarters) and William Vague are calling for Digital IDs....1984.

In this we are aligned. (Although the 1984 bit is oft overplayed) There should be no circumstance at all where I, as a free citizen, should be required to prove who I am at the behest of the authorities, unless there is significant cause to believe I am guilty of some offence. In which case feel free to arrest me.

(Note ID NOT proof of entitlement before people start talking about driving licences and passports.....)

"Don't you know who I am? Who am I? How did I get here?"

There are times when ID could be a bit helpful in our advancing years.
