After some delays of my own making and due to other factors, I finally got the B 12 back after it was sand/media blasted, am pretty pleased overall, pics to follow

Well, we sand blasted the worst parts which were known, granted further rusted metal taken away, but expected, there were 2/3/4 small areas previously covered and then revealed by the media blasting on roof, but again no real surprises. Will post up this evening

Indeed Peter, still plenty to do, this is the end of act 1.....act two consists of getting bodywork done and painted.....reckon will take 4-8 months depending, hopefully running concurrently we will get engine and most mechanicals refurbed....to me act 3, then the final show stopper is re-assembly...........

Great work so far Frank, good to see some instant preservative on the bare metal, all too often people get blasting done and leave it bare just to see it all go orange in a few weeks.

Well you can at least describe it as honest now; nothing hidden to surprise you...

Yeah, the damp atmosphere over here just leads to the orange rash almost instantly...........have a few guys coming around to give estimates next week, hoping to get her moved on soon after.

Cheers Loz.........plus have my Alfa still to sell, so the mechanicals and some of the work is timed to take advantage of that, not a lot for me to do now Loz except hand my mechanic tools and do as I am told, nice to have gotten past the dirty phase though....

Hey Frank,

Kudos to you my man. This is the proper way to do the work and as I've said it before this is automotive ****.

This is going to be one fine car when finished and you need to follow tradition (as per the Khamsin's debut midlands meet) and crack open a botlle of bubbly.
