Reports to write.... Gave myself a lay in this morning as the weekend caught up with me I guess! so about 45 inspection reports and 14 sites to inspect in Hatfield today.... Better get my fingers nimble!

The blast in the car at the weekend and meeting up with the crowd just reminded me how lucky we are to be custodians of these awesome machines!!!

Morning All

What a good weekend. I celebrated finishing the heat-gunning, scraping and sanding of the staircase on Friday night. I think I spent over 40 hours in total on the world's most boring task.

As I drank to a job well done in a pub on Friday, one of my mates asked me whether I was ok. He pointed to the multiple red marks, blisters and spots of peeling skin on my hands. i soon realised that my right hand, having been burnt a few time when heat-gunning, looks a bit odd. The word leprosy was used!

Twickenham on Saturday was excellent. A very well fought game with a cracking try to win. A great atmosphere that i contributed very well to, aided with a lot of beer.

Sunday was a chilled day of recovery from the hangover.

Drew - That S3 sounds pretty goo. But check this out if Mrs Drew fancies making it considerably quicker than your QP! http://www.mtm-online.de/en/products/mtm?brand=AU&model=S3+8V&FzgID=S38V221Q

Zags - Looks lovely the Spyder and the SZ.

Adam - I use BiltHamber clay. Found it to be good.

Newton - Was good to see England playing well and not failing with the pressure. Also, as always, if you feel like giving any Detailing advice, please can you share it with me as well.

Matt/Frank - You need to eat some sleeping pills!

Morning all. Its bright and sunny down here, feel done in from the weekend, wrist still kills.....I know....grow a pair!!!!

Ross, point taken, I find lager, in large quantities, has a similar effect.

My SM exhaust is now on order plus Chris Bassett has put an order in for an Xpipe, they are under £200 so if anyone else wants one, PM me and ill get you one on order.

Had a good day in the city. Learned the full intricacies of this assignment, my client has a client who has a client who is using another party to deliver a service for their (reluctant) APAC office. In order for the project to even start moving, I need information from all of them, but for one reason or another none of them think it's their duty to provide any...they are 4 weeks behind already which exceeds their contingency and have an absolute regulatory deadline in 4 months.

And it's my job to make things happen. Let the meetings commence!

I don't know Frank, the public sector is littered with failed IT projects and botched contracts running gazillions over budget and deadline... It's the main reason I'm self employed; I found my head hurt constantly so I left and found I didn't need to keep banging it on brick walls!!!!
