10 days or so till the shortest day then it’s downhill to Spring, hot days, warm evenings, car events, pubs, girls in short skirts (men in shorts, socks and sandles for the ladies) and the end of Covid and hopefully a return to a more relaxed, less argumentative attitude on SM.

10 days or so till the shortest day then it’s downhill to Spring, hot days, warm evenings, car events, pubs, girls in short skirts (men in shorts, socks and sandles for the ladies) and the end of Covid and hopefully a return to a more relaxed, less argumentative attitude on SM.

Lots to look forward to.

Bring it on, brother! I can't wait. We can't do much about the weather, girls in summer clothes or COVID, but happy times and general good-natured mucking about are 100% in our control.

Woke up at 5am with a hangover headache, which annoyed the crarp out of me because I haven't touched a drop since Saturday. It's gonna take a lot of caffeine to see me through whatever day this is. Anyway, buggering away at the buttons again today. Need to get out and stretch my legs at some point and I'm determined to continue my run of daily 25 mins hard exercise to round out each day (3 x 7 minute workout + a few minutes time collapsed on the floor).

Nipped in the office this morning to sign a few more bits to send off to far flung places that we can only dream of visiting right now.

Then home to put my feet up. I think along with others who have not had a break this year, I'm suffering from burn out!

Completely agree.

But I do love a pint of ale, by the fire, in an old pub. Then, 9 pints more. That's the best part of this time of year for me. (Oh, and seeing family and friends...blah blah blah)
