What’s under the resin layer?

I did the base work and laid all 480 granite sets over 12 years ago, pre SUDS legislation so instead of trying to put a drain across the front I infilled with 180mm or more 0 fines pea shingle and cement mix so it is free draining and still load bearing. I had to patch it last week as over the years some had escaped as the bond is not as tight as concrete. It was always intended to have a porous topping on it like this, just that things got in the way like uni fees!

Good morning all, battening down hatches and prepping for the hurricane due to hit sometime Mon. Gas, generator run, projectiles policed up, food, water, and most important, Spyder ready to move.

Good morning all.....Quiet day today....F1 later and a day of BTCC on ITV4. Good to see that back as well. My mate is also driving his Bentley in the GT series today.....The last three seasons has seen him go from the back of the grid in a Cayman to a Mercedes GT and now playing with the big boys in the new Continental....Looks and sounds amazing. Unfortunately his qualifying lap didn't count as he broke the track limits.

In a word, yes.

Granted, you will to begin with roll up to junctions, forget to declip and provide entertainment for other road users as you are seen frantically wriggling as you and the bike go down.

The clips do come in to their own on hills as you can pull up on the back pedal which gives 40% more rotational force...so I am told. It does work but yes it’s knackering.

Oooh, morning.

Morning. Very little planned today. Hoping to not have to sit in A+E for an X-ray, if the virtual GP gives me a referral in about 20 minutes and get it done privately. Physio yesterday suspects I've broken my ankle which is about 3 feet away from being a PITA but a pain nonetheless.

Have a great day, all

Morning all, good luck Chris, I'm off to North Fambridge in a bit to kayak with others to Battlesbridge in a socially distanced way naturally. About 12km each way so expecting to be aching later as this will be the longest distance this year on the water.

Pleased with the driveway and it seems the barricades kept motor vehicles off it overnight as it continues to harden off.

Have fun all...

I may be some time....

Good luck C, was in A&E myself last week, very quiet, friends who work in the medical profession are saying now is the best time to go, as they are very quiet so you shouldn't be kept hanging around for to long.

Morning,
More DIY and then F1 for me.
Swapped sockets yesterday and found that previously they had been sealed with decorators caulk, so, what should have been couple of hours work turned into an all day fix the bodge event..

Good luck C.

I’m a day behind you, Dave. That’s my on my job list for today. Electrics and plumbing in this house are always a surprise.

Morning, world.
