My turn for the insomnia... again.

Morning all, waiting for the sun to rise (lazy git) so I get on with cutring the lawn.

Morning, more insomnia down here, woke up at 3:30am, stared at the ceiling for an hour then gave up and got up. Watching Dallas Car Sharks, if that can’t make me fall asleep nothing will.

Oh! Peahen! I thought this was some kind local Essex term for those of you with gun dogs! :lol2:

I think they may take a while. Are they good fried?

C

very tasty, a strong flavour like turkey eggs but not fatty like goose.

morning all, again going to go and do these last five inspections I’ve failed to do the last two days as project patio has got in the way. Going to go and see the grand children and Nick later for a bbq and also to replace his bathroom floor following water damage.

Have fun all...

Good morning everyone, the thought of an Al fresco fry-up has made me hungry. Might get up now. For anything TVR, speak to Dean aka Rockits. He's owned a few...

Well I've failed to get out this morning but instead have spent 6 hours buying parts for my GS custom induction mod! Cooked some pea hen eggs for lunch (really tasty!), resolved some issues, got two new jobs lined up and had a call back from the resin bound guy and it looks like he can maybe do it this afternoon so the entire project patio may even be finished this weekend!!!!! Price is so good I may even stretch to the driveway infill that I've been saving for 12 years now!
Newton - are you moving the air intake from the silly position under the left headlights?

Coz people are chuffing stupid and listen to the motoring press. Engines were made of toffee, handling was iffy and build quality non existent. All can be sorted but just spend the money on a proper car.

My Ms summed it up perfectly “ the one that was made in the 1960s”.

I’ve also owned a 1960s one and she wasn’t wrong.

yes Jon, the 4200 is easy as once the stupid air box is out it can pull the air in from wherever it wants, the GS has a very comprehensive cowling to the behind grille space so will require a mod. The velocity stack just makes sure it gets a good feed!

have you drawn up a plan and list of parts? Sounds like a perfect excuse for a how to thread?

Plan as ever is in my head, I’ll do a how to for it yes, parts coming from Taiwan and America (when they get back to me!)but I may need an interim version as these overseas parts may take a while!
