Morning all back to WFH although we had no power outage yesterday, however it was fun bike ride, flying model planes in the garden and then dinner outside watching the sunset

Good morning everyone, thank you for Thursday of a four day week.
Looking forward to the long weekend. Weather look OK for the south east, bit of rain. Might go camping...

Morning all, managed a measly 25/50 in the pub quiz last night, mostly the film questions. More of the same today and a little more on the rowing machine, Only managed .5km yesterday due to muscle ache from previous days.

have fun all...

Groundhog Day.

Kinda, done some work already this morning which is away from what we normally do, but hopefully will prove profitable.
All about adapting these days.

Hello everyone!
It should be a slightly more relaxed day here today so I'm about to head into the garden for an hour or so, then make some calls. There was one sad call I made yesterday - the old dude has lost 7 friends to covid already.
Then I wonder how far I'll wander on the bike today? I've been only taking out my hybrid commuter bike as it's just a fun thing to ride though is several mph slower than the road bike. That said, I've still recorded over 40pmh on a couple of occasions in the last week or so!

HapPea Thursday!

Any particularly good questions you remember? I have to set a quiz for Sunday...

Living the dream, Andy!

Morning, all. This morning I have been watching the starlings being deterred by the pots of bird-deterring gel I have positioned near to where they scramble up into the eaves. Beeks full of raw materials for their nest, they seem so far to have been repelled. Not one to be too self-assured of a resounding victory, I have ordered more gel and will distribute it a bit more widely to help them resist the temptation to try and break into the same area via a different route. Honestly, I'm pretty sure they're related to the Hatton Garden mob. Wankers.

Alongside that, it's a normal (ha!) workday. So far a couple of calls, a long-overdue success with resolving a challenging Asian customer and now I have ahead of me what I hope will be the quietest day in a fortnight. I've got a ton of emails that need clearing (I shall be Hercules to my inbox's Augean stables) and a couple more calls this afternoon. My garden shall be my office, the blackbirds, blue-tits, the noisy sodding rooks (but not the starlings) my background music.

Have a good Thursday, fellow car-lovers.

Another good start to the day as I needed to be in the office this morning to pick up legal documents for signature.

That means the GTS gets run out all within the guidelines.

Morning all.....Work is....well...non existent. All supermarket work stopped as they are back to normal levels. Have the HMPS on site renting space and 45 of my colleagues working with them. 110 colleagues now on furlough.....Weird times.
