I find it a bit odd that many of the people who are saying to me that they are appalled that Sunak has a Green Card giving him the right to live and work in the USA, are also saying to me that they are appalled that the Brexit vote means that none of us have the right to live and work in, say, Belgium. So hanging on to the former is some sort of disloyal un-British crime, and losing the latter is a horrible consequence of petty British nationalism.
