Far be it for me to complain but I see no place for a BMW on a forum dedicated to the Maserati marque, this would never have been aloud during my tenure of a similar forum?

Not sure if I'll get banned from SM for saying it Andy, but love the pics of your car! I've never seen one in that colour in the flesh but looks stunning.

The metallic rasp of the e46 really is awesome! Not as good as a v8 of course, but certainly one of the best v6 sound tracks of all times...

Totally agree, it's a wonderfully unique sound. Getting very tempted to swap my X5 for one the more I look at yours Andy. Although I'd probably go for a Carbon Black with 19's and subtly tinted windows... Did I mention I'm from Essex?

Andy is a true Masser enthusiast, let there be no doubt. Incredibly knowledgable about the marque plus he also sorts out Llandow. He could drive a tractor and still be welcome in my book !

Who cares if it's not a Maser or not.....IMHO
When a decent car is involved, it's always good to talk about it and have other peoples opinions.......
The forum is so informative.........and this informs other Maserati owners that a good alternative could be a BMW........

Car looks great Andy, superb colour. I love a bit of BMW content, especially as mine is now finished. The sun has been out so I've been driving it around and enjoying it again.

Same discussions at the Dutch Maseratichat.
All kinds of cars pop up, wich was unthinkable at the more restricted old MCH forum.
Similar route as you guys had to walk towards the Sportsmaseratiforum, we had to go from the original Dutch forum, causing the birth of the Chat in the end.

Still, there was a tendcy going on lately on our Chat, that we discussed all kinds of cars, except Maserati cars....
In my humble opinion you allways have to be carefull not to shift towards an universal "all kinds of cars forum".
But an occasional topic about an Alfa, Lambo, AM, Jag or M series is no problem at all of course.
