Take a look through the old glossy magazine's back then and see what used luxury you could have had for 5 bags of sand.Only on the regular walk back up the road to collect the mangled remanence of exhaust pipe that would fall off every few months! It was a bargain at £5k new! it was a post-production, parts bin vehicle, so had all sorts of weird things either missing or added, like no fuel cut off on the carb so from the get go it popped and crackled on over-run. It was such a revvy engine and got thrashed daily but yes it would raise a titter from those that knew...
