I’m assuming it is the green stripe on the plate for the diesel BM. Either that or it was indicating by accident :p

Cheeky, drive a hybrid and take a punt on the plate getting you in to those chargeable locations.

The green bit doesn’t have an effect on that, the cameras don’t register it. I don’t really understand the point of it.

Anyone know the factors that the Ulez camera recognition system use does it not respond or flag up if the first thing it denotes is green on the number plate, if thats the case i can see a market for exhaust covering flaps.

I think green means its a 'green' car (hybrid or electric) - I've got to get some UK stickers for our European trip and I'm thinking of getting green ones too!

The green is for zero emissions and also includes hydrogen vehicles. At the moment there are only hints it will lead to some benefits such as entry into clean air zones, but as stated current tec only recognises the letters/numbers on the reg plate.

I suspect the owner is parking in electric vehicle charging locations (which you can do with any plug in car) but like me gets sanctimonious knobs winging that it's taking up too much space or too long to charger for the 54 mile range it can do in ev mode... or someone nicked his engine.

On this day in 1963 Ferruccio Lamborghini went along to the Bologna Chamber Of Commerce with his wife Anita to officially register his new car making company 'Ferruccio Lamborghini Automobili Sp.a.', and all because of a problem with the clutch in his Ferrari 250GTE, pictured in the background on the cover of this tractor brochure....
