Anyone know the factors that the Ulez camera recognition system use does it not respond or flag up if the first thing it denotes is green on the number plate, if thats the case i can see a market for exhaust covering flaps.

An Uber drive told me 4D plates aren't captured, as born out by the fact he was in an S Class Mercedes limo and hadn't paid any charges, ever.......... Then you can have as many exhaust ports as you wish, allegedly .

As ever, the 4th dimension, in this case, is BS.

I rather suspect said Uber driver was elaborating a little but, it's not impossible that some plates will escape ANPR. Of course this is why we have rules (that so many seem upset by) as to how the plates should be laid out...

odd that, doesn't look like the beam is taken any load as joists seem to be running parallel to it, unless there is a part load further along the beam, in any case a bit of gaffa tape would put tat right

Gotcha. Ta. Just raised letters then. I've seen a few around. Didn't really understand the point until now. Had it actually been a 4th dimensional plate the option to travel through time to somehow avoid a speeding / not paying the congestion charge fine could be pretty useful. 'Ah, see now, when I was there last week it was 1972 and there was no congestion charge, so, frankly, bollox, Mr Magistrate sir.'
