bit sickening to see it.
I've not the time or space to do her up, so didn't buy her back.
the good(ish) news is the insurance paid out the full purchase price without a fight, really quite smooth once I'd had one or two discussions with them and they understood I kind of know what I'm talking about.

Paul, if you (or anyone else on here) end up with her, I have the red key and all documents still, just get in touch.
also have a copy of the damage report, so if you're thinking of bidding, let me know and I'll PM it across.

Mark, glad you were recompensed in full. Now to start the search again? Will you go for another 3200?

Really pleased to hear you didn't end up out of pocket Mark, but still yvery saddened to see such a fine example bite the dust through no fault of your own, especially as you obviously looked hard to get a good one.

I'm hoping that ying talks to yang and that there's a better one just around the corner with your name on it.

Mark......I know this may sound a bit weired......Friend of mine has had a look at your old car and has reported back a long list of things he thinks is/was wrong with your old car !!!!
Personally I am going to give this one a wide berth.......IMHO you had a dog there mate.
What seems all shinny and golden and all that.
You had a lucky escape with that one, that's all I am going to say on this subject.

How long did you say you had the car ?
Am I correct in saying the reg was T633PNE ?
I only ask, as the list he's given me is like 2 pages long with the defects he's noticed and what I asked him to look out for.

I'm not trying to protect T633PNE, it's done and dusted as far as I'm concerned.
not being funny, but is your mate experienced in this sort of thing?
As far as I'm concerned it was all in good order! like I said, I looked around for months before finding it

Guess you'll not be buying it after all then, probably good job he checked, you obviously trust him.

Think I'll write a post on things to check before you buy a 3200.......This might be the best way to explain to the everyday person what to look out for on an initial inspection :laugh:

I would say that 30% of the points raised are near enough what my friend said about your old car.
You are one very lucky person !
There is another reason why a comprehensive list of things to look out for is needed !!!!!!!!!
