I have no knowledge of this company but I would never use anyone who offers these services.

I'm with you 100% BB. These vultures are the reason for all of our premiums rising. Over-inflated hire car costs, plus their fees = higher insurance costs for everyone. These scumbag, greedy companies make my p!ss boil!

Ambulance chasers et al....never mind the 10% uninsured....why don't the Police trawl all those places they know 50% aren't insured and take them off the road!!!!????

There is one thing to be said of companies that offer those services , the exhorbident prices that they charge certainly sppeds up the claim process , and keeps you in a motor to which you have been accustomed if the other insurers drag their feet

I know this company - they replaced my 3200 with a Merc 320 E class for 2 weeks when some one reversed into the front of me (like you I was not in the car) - their services came as part of my Aviva Insurance.
I had to 'dowgrade' from the Aston (gutted) as my 3200 was ten years old - could have had a Porsche boxsteror BMW Coupe, I opted for the Merc as I had never had one

I also have this service included in my insurance.
Got an M3 for a while

I just don't think I'd go for a cold call company offering this service

Oh yes.
body work better than when it left the factory and paint a mile deep.
indeed a beautiful thing!

They should have open days there, just to let us salivate over their work.

Keep your eyes peeled on here :)

Thanks everyone.
not only for the heart felt thoughts, but in the good advice given.
so, next step is to wait for the insurance to get in touch.

trying to put a positive spin on things (and to make myself feel a bit better) at least: -

the 18 year old was insured, many aren't as we all know
he admitted liability immediately to my wife and soon after to his insurance company.
no one was hurt too badly.
his dad came round to apologise to me, ok small consolation but he was genuinely gutted for me and he didn't have to do that.
I haven't owned it long enough to completely fall in love with it, I can't imagine what I would feel like if I'd had spent months machine polishing, leather cleaning, fettling the engine etc to make it perfect.

so all in all I'm lucky (in a way)

I'll keep you posted on the outcome of the insurance discussions.

mark - I have been away for a few days and saw the thread. so sorry for you, but your attitude is exemplary. seems to be a common aspect of the members of this forum.

good luck with the ministrations. having had the 3200 can heartily recommend the move to a gransport.

all the best
