Hi Michael,

Welcome to the forum, just over in Essex but I'd get along to a Kent meeting for sure; great idea. Hope your search for a motor proves fruitfull and I couldn't add to the great information you have already been given except to stress....

Get an independent inspection done when you find a motor to go for.

Adam, out of your gallery I would choose one from; Luna blue, Bordeaux red, or fly yellow. I don't understand why they are so unpopular, they all look lovely. Out of the 'popular ones' Med blue is the nicest. Ones I would avoid; white, black and grey.

Colour is so personal. I can guarantee you that someone will think that my Blu Oceano with Cuoio (tan) sucks.

I actually love yellow or red. However, I got some hassle in my 4200 as it was red and I can only assume that yellow would have been worse. No problems so far with blue (fingers crossed).

Blue dashboard is nice but blue seats are not my fave, sabbia or avorio will be better suited IMO.

Hi Michael, Hi TheBeagler,

A belated welcome to the forum from me. Hope you both pull up a chair and make yourselves comfortable.

Looks like there's some decent interest for a Kent meet. Hmmm...........

One thing is for sure there is a big choice in colour options

Has anyone got any pictures of the rear seating?

If we did manage to get a Kent meeting together what sort of venue would you be looking for?

Plenty of choice of locations for Kent, I suspect somewhere with a decent sized car park who doesnt mind noise is a good start! Decent pub type venue would be good and if you want I could do some research on a place to suit - I would have thought that a centralish kent location could work depending on locations and maybe somewhere around the Temterden area or, alternatively, head coastal for some sea air to brace :)

I will certainly join you in taking photographs of beautiful cars, as you said any excuse.

A couple photographs of another one of my cars finished in Grigio Alloy at the Ace cafe and one on the way to it. These were taken by myself and a friend Oliver Pohlmann at night. It will be nice when I can add some Maserati pitches to my collection.

Ken, country pup always works, how about with a trip to a main dealer for so tyre kicking first. If you mention the forum to then they are usually very accomodating and will lay on coffee etc if you tell them in advance.

If you would like me to to send out an official email to members or dealers, just let me know.

If we go coastal; Whitstable gets my vote, no spectacular roads but lovely bis for the photos around the old town... Centrally there is the pub just up the hill from Leeds Castle on A20 has a large car park and very easy access from M20 the Park Gate Inn http://www.vintageinn.co.uk/theparkgateinnhollingbourne/ very large carpark and slopes down to the pub nicely...

I will be away for most November getting some sunshine before Christmas. As soon as I get back I will start looking for the right car.

I am happy to organise or help to organise a meeting in Kent and would suggest early spring, April?

We could make it a combination meeting, pub with good food, photo session and perhaps even pop into the main dealer.

Hi Mr2big

Welcome to the forum, The advice on the colour combination is spot on in my opinion having spent a long time picking my car and looking at what was moving or not at the time.

I'm just across the water in Essex.
