Its great when Dr Loz appears.....dispensing soothing words...........prescribing the "smiling cream" antidote.........you can only believe the words of a man whose gone through what you guys are going through...........

But first you've got to stand in front of the mirror and mouth the words.................to your reflection........................

" I am a Maserati addict....................."

After that self-admission.........................things will get better................................well at least until you've bought one!!!

There are innumerable times throughout life when you have to give over pretty much everything of yourself to those around you, emotionally, financially and in the commitment of your time. Then you look out onto the drive and you see a car that balances the scales. Not many cars do that, and when you find one, they're pretty special, and for us they wear a trident. It's not the sickness, it's the cure.

welcome to the forum, I cannot believe how addicted I have become to mine. picked it up yesterday drove it 150 miles and told my wife I would leave it in the garage today. I lasted until 9.30 this morning and had to take it to "get some fuel" came back 1 hour later.

Andrew, it reminds me of when I got my first one, was simply blown away that I owned a car of this caliber.....any excuse to go out, a pint of milk, no problem, 2 hrs later.

Enjoy

just been out again this evening actually quite scared now need to calm down and act my age

It's a good sort of scared though isn't it Andrew! No need to break the speed limit, just to get to it very, very quickly and to see pretty much everything else go backwards in your wing mirrors. You'll never tire of it. :)

yes great feeling just starting to relax now when driving it, instead of holding on like a big girl.

No.... we all get that warm fluffy feeling, even my 2 year old screams "leather leather" when he's in the car

Yesterday I went out to "get the car washed" I came back two hours later with a couple of 4 packs of Corona and a lime.... and a dirtier car, sporting more dead bugs than when I left.

My Mrs is used to it now. Just popping out for a drive is no longer met with, yeah but where are you going? As she now knows the answer is that I'll do 50-100 miles and have been everywhere but gone no where and often return empty handed.

Dan, I'm well into my third year of ownership and I still haven't been directly to the offe'. Chr1st only knows how much it's cost in petrol, but it's money well spent as far as I'm concerned! :)
