My first Maserati

One thing that's changed in my driving habits is I've started going for lots more random drives to nowhere, I'm in a different car today at work so I'll be swapping the cars around in the driveway when I get home and I've already decided I'll be taking the Mas for a little blast out into the country :)

Thats what owning a Maserati does to you. It sucks you in till eventually you find yourself just driving around in circles for the shere fun of it

LOL I sadly have to agree with everything said here...The economical car is the seat ibiza as it does 48MPG........Its sat out on the drive now gathering a thick layer of dust........I think the brakes have locked on as well.
The maserati is actually like a pregnant woman eating for 2....its clocking up the miles for 2 cars!!!
I always make my random destinations count though, as i do get out and stretch my legs when i decide i have "arrived" and some times i treat myself to a Mac flurry! LOL

Dave, I was at Autoshield when you picked it up, glad you're loving it, told you! I still look back at it every time I park it even though I've had Maseratis for 5 years.

Any colour would do..Don't really care as long as it has a Maserati badge on it.

Hi Dave, sorry been overseas and just catching up now. Lovely car, and you seem to have the bug, any questions, just ask. Marios is a top guy so if he has had his magic fingers on your car, you should have a good'en there.

It was nice to meet you Richard or is it Dicky ? :) 3200 you had on the day wasn't it? Hope it's behaving itself

I've actually just seen Marios again today, he's just picked up the Mas to do an annual service, MOT, and I decided to buy the Formula Dynamics DBW module as after 6 weeks of owning the car that's the only thing that's a little below par IMO

So looking forward to getting it back - probably going to be monday so I'll be turning back into a boy racer for the weekend and getting one of my hooligan Celica's out for a bit of a blast LOL

So the other week, not sleeping to well, so I got up around 3:30am but instead of visiting the bathroom I decided to pop downstairs and just have a check on the Mas, now that's possibly a little too obsessive but so far it was a one off and I promise not to do it again LOL :)

In my defence I had just washed it and it was looking very shiny

When I first got mine, I had a couple nights where I couldn't sit still at home and would go for midnight runs in the GS! It's a beautiful feeling :)

Sorry guys No Real Known Cure

Now Guys, if you used to sleep at night soundly, and you want to again , Repeat after me , its just a car just any old car , its a chunk of metal ,it has four wheels just like millions of others before it , Its not even British for gods sake , so whats come over me , I have a wonderful woman in my bed upstairs , So why the **** am i down here in my dressing gown in the garage or staring out the window onto the drive at 4 am in the morning, these arent the actions of the sane man that i used to be

If after 5 repititions you havent logged on the pc to auto trader or pistonheads and placed a forsale add, then im afraid there 's no known cure other than to go and buy some Nivea for yourself and some carnuba for the Masser, carress it to your hearts content, and get ready for the men in white coats, for sure it'll either be them or your neglected wife 's solicitor waiving your divorce papers , and yes you will look really stupid with your face plastered in Nivea but atleast you'll be wrinkle free in the end
