Don't need to be very far outside Mnaco to get significant reductions, we could head West towards or into Nice and there is some stunning roads along the coast & it is only a few miles anyway. I've come out on the D6007/D45 before and it is a great drive but I've spotted a couple of potential play items on the way... there is this lovely decent on the D45 and what do you find at the bottom but a lovely tunnel that is crying out for a rendition of the Larini Suite!!!

I have to log off from this site, cause it starts to make me lose my mind.... I drove from Athens to Sweden one year ago, how can i miss this? My girlfriend and i were thinking of making a trip to Monaco, Saint Tropez and Stelvio Pass, but never said when it's going to be... Now it seems the right time, cause you won't leave me alone with her.... !!
If i'm not mistaken, what Lewis suggested was two nights in Monaco at 17-18/3/2012? Is anyone going to book for us, or everyone for himself?
Parisien, what are your further plans?
As a first thought, mid-March till end of April seems to be a good period of travelling for me.When you've all agreed on date and regions, i'll vote for my joining.
(how will i continue to work after this???)

Work is just a distraction.....living your life is what its about!!

Prefer later April, ie to get more reliable weather, not too fussed on the passes really, quite like the Milau bridge on way back, plus coastal run from Monaco on down to St Tropez then back up, intend staying in Paris for a night or two myself. So making it a spring holiday really to justify costs

Hoping we get get dates mostly sorted over next few weeks,

I'll be wanting to go down when the roads are empty, not during school holidays or anything like that. Saturday night in Casino Square is the plan! The aim is to have the snow melted and passes open, the original idea was to be the first real drive of the year so the earlier the better for me. May would be very late in the year and I will probably have other events/commitments by then with Le Mans in June followed by Classic LM. Late March into April preferred for me.

I will probably do the trip the month before we go, maybe Feb/March to research the route, first trip in 911 C4 in case it is a bit slippery and then the main trip in the DB9.

suggest to copy and paste the list of the participants, and everyone writes next to his name the date and the route of preference. I prefer to stay two nights in Monte Carlo, as i am coming from the opposite direction, and won't be able to sleep at Le Harve! On the other hand, i know some of you do not wish to drive all the way back all in once.
Who starts?
1) Marcos
2) Lozcb
3) Paul L
4) Safrane
5) Enzo
6) Parisien
7) Dem
8) Grinzzz
9) Newton
10)Pibbow
11) Miles.
12)GTDan
13)Mr. Cambio/ Nikos
