Krishna - I am loving the addition of frutti to your tutti - you must be in marketing. I will never look at a broom the same way again. Expect Contigo to come along any minute soon and comment.

Great to meet you and Hari on the trip. I would suggest you get signed up for the Xmas bash - it already has the feel of a mini-reunion.

On the ferry to Dover, got pulled at the port by the police.

No reason they said, they asked me where I had been so I said Strasbourg and asked me what I did for a job (run the worlds largest dedicated Maserati forum and organise high speed driving trips accross Europe and drink in bars till dawn)....erm, no, I am a business director.

Still didn't stop them emptying my car and doing a full search!

Another time suckers!

Now tell me, fellow Centenary Tour people...

Does anyone have any idea why the police were stopping all Maseratis after the Mont Blanc tunnel as they approached Chamonix? Anyone? Hmmm????

Did anyone ever find out the reason for this other than running their grubby paws over the luscious curves and supple leather of a car way beyond their level of taste?

Lol broom handles, tutti and little finger all now really do make me cry with laughter!

Drop the Frutti you don't need that just a high pitched "Tutti!"

Welcome home some more of you today, still some stragglers to make it. There may be a Ghibli making a late dash at weekend ... Any news Adam?

Just arrived in Luxembourg. Full length of Germany done today, 145mph stretches, then slower than walking with road works, nightmare!!! Belgium tomorrow.

Guys, did you know that it's 959.5 miles from Monaco to my house? And takes about two days to sensibly drive by one person? I do and i'm F**ked!

Home run complete, postcard duly sent to Stalagluft III aka Hotel Real Fini.

Thank you Matt, Rob and Drew for your great organization and the SportsMaserati Expeditionary Force, for the laughs, the great times and most of all great friendships that have been made.

I'm looking forward to the next trip/Christmas Meet-up.

I've just read out some of Benny's comments to my youngest son (20yo) and after laughing for what seemed like an hour, he pointed out something truly horrifying. "Oh dear God Mother, that is Ben (my eldest son who is a pilot) in 20 years time!" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

What are you trying to say?! I don't need any lip from you, I've had more than enough already!

Just got back and I'm comprehensively f*cked. 2825 miles and every inch with the roof down. Average mpg worked out at 14.8 which I guess is ok. Fantastic car, some fantastic roads, some fantastic driving and some fantastic friends, excluding of course the banana twins, both of whom are a pain-in-the-a55! Thanks guys we had a blast and we hope to see you all again on the next one. Drive safe.

Well done mate, still smiling after the trip in yours. I take back what I said about the exhaust note, in the flesh it's even more theatrical and brutal!
