Agree, but in the scope of things I can live with that for a bit. I will replace it when replace all hoses after this trip.

more or less themperature than normal means thermostat. Of course the car should be running for a while. Mine needs too, and yes Allan, for now it's not so serious thing, but you should have this in mind.

Welcome home some more of you today, still some stragglers to make it. There may be a Ghibli making a late dash at weekend ... Any news Adam?

Hi Newton, due to our Italian friends lack of ability to provide a quotation the old Ghibli is being recovered back to the UK, should be back in about two weeks, a little disappointed I didn't finish the round trip, especially as I wanted to fill the boot with sparkling stuff.
Just need to decide where to get the car sent for repair, any recommendations would be appreciated, as I want to leave the car with whoever to get a few other bits done other than the water pump. Autoshield seemed to be quite helpful?
Hope everyone else has made it back trouble free?

I've had cars recovered to Autoshield a couple of times, very helpful and good at sorting out all those little bits & pieces.

Well the old girl has made it onto the ferry Well impressed, the repaired hose has a slight leak now, but after nearly 3000 miles and a thrashing round the track I have no complaints

Good luck with the repatriation and sorry to hear it had to end this way but still sounded like a fantastic trip
