I am not sure I could live with that as it looks a little Max Power.

I want to change all the intake and coolant hoses but I draw the line at those after market blue ones!

What K&n kit was it out of interest . i want to fot a single one to my 4200 , its only got one air box so i think i better get a big one . ;)

You can get a replacement BMC filter for the 4200/GS air box from lots of places for about £60. I have one in mine.

Finally got the X pipe fitted this morning at a friends body shop, he's got her for the next 2 weeks to tidy up whilst I'm away so cannot comment on the NOISE difference fully, will report back when I've had her out for a blast!!

Finally took the old girl out for a blast today after being in the body shop, pleasantly surprised about the effect of the X pipe (thanks Benny), not too loud but love the pops and crackles on overrun/engine braking!
Can't wait to try her through a tunnel on full throttle, but do I want MORE?
Possibly, next step for me would be to remove the secondary cats, I mean what are they doing anyway? apart from choking my engine!!!
Comments/advice please....

Getting rid of the secondary cats is one of the best mods you can do. The engine will be more responsive and if you like the sound of the X pipe by itself then i would imagine you will love it with the cats removed!

I should have my x pipe by the end of the week to go with the straight through rear pipes I purchase a week or so ago. Hopefully getting them fitted next week.

That will work well. Keep your windows open the first time you drive it and I bet you'll laugh out loud the first time you nail it! ;)

I concur....the problem is after a week you get used to it and go back for more (or less) of an exhaust.

I think this will do me for now. The car is just a toy so does not get used that much but I do not park it up for the winter.
