Finally got round to fitting the X-pipe I bought from benny last year, anyone looking for a little bit extra noise, but not too much, I highly recommend they buy one of these. The weight saving alone must be worth 25bhp!!!!!!!. Seriously though, just buy one.

It's a personal thing; an X-pipe will sound smoother and Ferrari like whereas the H-pipe is more guttural like an American muscle car. You can hear the individual pulses better with the H-pipe. Costs are; H-pipe £170 and X-pipe £200 plus £20 shipping.

Autoshield are making an x pipe for my GT at the moment. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like. It's about the same price but you need to have the original removed and sent to them for an exact copy to be made.

Thanks Benny. Re read the sm exhaust thread and sounds like x pipe the way to go. May well do something this Summer.

I have the H pipe from Benny with unvalved larini back boxes and the sound is pretty amazing, great sound on start up, will cruise along with a nice rumble but put your foot down and you really get the V8 bark sound.

David, I did the same after Benny persuaded me I was a bloody great whoopsie if I stuck to standard. And very jolly chuffed I am with it, too.
