The downside is that your fuel economy will now plummet, because you will be forever 'giving it the berries' to hear the orchestra, again and again and again! ;)

I appreciate you have a 3200 but what exhaust combo is that you have? Sounds good, nice rasp to it!!

It's basically no back boxes. I videod it tonight before the straight through a go on so basically it will sound slightly different as the pipes are not beyond the rear of the car at the moment and back pressure may be slightly different.

I might be controversial, but I don't like the sound.
Sounds like a cheap Rover V8, a bit, er rough maybe? sorry

All 3200's sound a completely different to the 4200 and are not as high pitched. I have to decide now whether to put some small silencers on or not or keep it like that.

No silencers might make it easier for the recovery driver to get it on the truck.
Blimey I'm morphing into Benny D.

More noise = more grins! Try it for a while and if it's too much you can 'do a Maverick'! (Sorry, John!)

4200 certainly benefits from exhaust mods and I just love the way mine sounds with an X-pipe and GS rear boxes. However my QPIV (basically the same as a 3200) has a totally different sound. It has straight through pipes from the central resonator out. It has a lovely V8 burble on tick over but is hardly noticeable on the road until you are really giving it some beans.

Is yours the QPIV Evo then as I believe this was the same engine. Yours still has the centre silencer whereas mine doesn't. Short of removing the precats too I can't do much more to release the V8 in her!

I would upload a video of mine - straight through rears, Larini sports centre centre & Larini de-cat race pipes - oh wait, it's knackered ....

Sounds great Phil, good work!
