Whats truly professional about being a criminal......................a piece of societal detritus.......don't make these failures in humanity sound as if they are something to be given some sort of credence at any level

Sure be on your guard........shame 98% are afraid continually of the 2%

True enough but its the 2% that target the 2% of all vehicles (ok! fictional figure :) ) which are our exotic cars ;)

Not really. According to my listing I live within 100 meters of Meridian. Any professional theives would probably try there before finding my house.
I agree that if the flag on the map is exactly where your garage is then that's a little daft. But if it's down the road or on the otherside of the village then I thinks it's pretty harmless.

In urban areas, I totally agree with you, but for those in rural areas, unless they've been savvy enough to put a place that is similar but not next door, it's kind of an easy spot for low-lives. I'm pretty confident I could find the one that is near my location (assuming they still own it and still live there of course! :D)

EDIT: OK, I've done some digging and the owner no longer owns :D

"Northants Police have officially named 61-year-old Nigel Howse as the victim of a car crash on the A5 Watling Street near Fosters Booth last week.

At around 8.30am on Friday, December 28, Mr Howse from Nether Heyford was driving towards Towcester along the A5 when his black Maserati Coupe G left the road and collided with a large tree. "

Nigel was a good freind of mine and a fellow AROC member, he was really looking forward to having a run in my new 3200GT in the spring

He really loved his old Maserati 4200........

Rest in peace Nige.

Sad, sad news, may he rest in peace. A sobering reminder to us all of the power of our cars.

I know that part of the world fairly well - the black GS you used to see in Towcester *might* even be mine, though haven't been there for a couple of months.

Woody,
yes that might well have been your car in Towcester- because the one involved in the accident was apparently an "old" 4200and desppite numerous enquiries have not met anyone who knew him- may have been new to the area -- all very sad - lots of flowers around the tree today.
Back to your first post. Ilived in Greens Norton for many years and met the owner of your car a few times (cant remember his name.)
However i seem to recall he bought it from Meridien in 2008 .I bought mine roughly same time , they had 4 in stock -1 M CV -1GS LE (mine nettuna blue)and 2 black gs"s one with red calpiers and other with yellow calipers this car i took out on test with Glenn Butt, which i think is your car could this be so.
anyway Happy new year.
