60 year addition???...whats that about?

Or is that the time the GT has been out for or the time to lapse before the Alf'i comes out???

Christ I thought England harping on about the glory days of 1966 was holding on to the past by Maserati F1 Championship.....That's from a time when people were black and white and moved really quick....

Looking at the spec 454 bhp...Is that more power ?

No power increase...... seriously starting to be well behind other marques. Although one feature I wonder if I can retrofit that rear camera I really do want

It clearly states Ghibli/Levante infotainment system and rear view camera, new dash and bumpers design.

Nice, might hold out for one of these in a few years.

No MC Shift and no more power :(

It'll be a nice overhaul but it sounds like the guts and underneaths will be pretty much unchanged. Not worth changing for, in my humble. Now, if it had 550 brake and lost over a hundred kgs then I'd need to keep myself away from main dealers.

A slightly tweaked & re-mapped Stradale is the answer for you then!

Agreed, but wish they would just do a nice modern update from top to bottom - just look at McLaren

Could a Strad be dragged up to 550 brake without having a supercharger strapped to it? I'm inclined to agree with Matt - Maserati has at its disposal a perfectly good engine to drop in and which would be stunning.

Nah. People would complain that it has turbos and comment on the laaaaggggg.

They are just trying to keep it fresh for a few more years....It's a 10 year old car now and without a complete overhaul with more power it really will be left behind and this is what is needed now in such a heavy car. It's going to be a struggle to stay competitive. They will always have those lovely looks and great noise to win a few over but more money needed but really can't see them developing the car when a replacement is on the way. If it sells a few more of this pretty car then good.

Thanks for posting Catman. Shame they don't have pictures in the pack.

I was hoping for engine/gearbox changes as well but the lack of that and the low volumes tells us that this is an interim fix. I guess they have found they can't sell enough 4Cs to keep the production staff busy. I would have thought they would need to keep it going next year as well given the lack of insight into a replacement. Maybe another special edition in a year's time?

I wonder what they will do for Europe and ROW?

PS Power is unchanged at 460PS which is 454bhp.

There is only one line with 4 stations producing the Alfa at Modena...given the GT takes up or should I say took up four lines with 10 stations...you would need to sell a lot of Alfas.
