Who's your TD? Mine's Leo Varadkar, wish he was running in the UK elections.Things aren't getting better over there and for once happy to be outside of it. I can't vote for either of those two so will have to be one that says anything remotely reasonable even if they have no chance of getting elected.
refuses to apologise for anti semetic remarks
Even the wreath laying isn't as it suggested if you read the press, not linking anything, DYOR.Can you find a video of Corbyn making any anti-semetic remarks?
1 of the candidates has, on many, many occasions stood for the few, stood for the minorities, campaigned against racism etc.
The other has written many articles, and even published book, which dehumanised women to sexual objects, and points out people from different races based on their appearance alone throughout.
According to the UK media, one of them is an anti-semite, but the other isn't a racist or sexist.
All you have to do is try scraping back some of the **** the right wing focused media are shovelling and apply a little common sense.
Of course it's equally obvious why he hasn't apologised. He hasn't done anything. As soon as he apologises, the biased media will simply push that he IS an anti-semite, the apologise will basically justify the existence.
I don't particularly like Corbyn, but Boris is toxic.
I guess it depends on your viewpoint.
130,000 deaths very much due to 10 years of austerity isn't something I believe anyone should even consider voting for, never mind actually ticking the box.
Everything else is virtually irrelevant.
Bevin, Gaitskell, Hardie, on the hand...
Wasn't Gaitskell dead before the end of the war? And the start of the NHS?None were PM, you can argue it’s very easy to be virtuous if you’re not in charge.
Didn’t Bevan leave government in disgust at Gaitskell’s introduction of charges to the NHS?
No he wasn't!Wasn't Gaitskell dead before the end of the war? And the start of the NHS?
Not “very much due” according to this
FactCheck: did austerity kill 120,000 people?
That was the claim shared by Jeremy Corbyn — but is it true?www.channel4.com
This is good, checking facts is the way forward, your source is still press though, why not go directly to the independent source instead?
Is austerity linked to 120,000 unnecessary deaths? - Full Fact
A report estimates 120,000 more people have died since 2010 than would have if the mortality rate from 2001-10 had stayed the same.fullfact.org
I can equally do what channel 4 have done and state that the above says it’s “entirely plausible” which isn’t even all that out of context.
This, is the single most indicting reason why we can continue as we are...This is good, checking facts is the way forward, your source is still press though, why not go directly to the independent source instead?
