I'm not going to try and sway anyone politically but my experience of teaching is - 8 years ago the kids used to do the shoe box appeal for kids in third world countries now we collect food for local families who cant afford to eat. Make your own mind up ‍♀️
I have taken this from elsewhere but very sad reading all the same.

The difference being of course that Corbyn met, encouraged and praised them when they were still active members of the IRA, planting bombs, killing and maiming people on the UK mainland and he was never part of the peace process.
Now that's just not true is it?

His only 'crime' was not being able to conduct these meetings in camera like the Government did. This is not in dispute.

Encouraged? Where? Does this peaceable honest man have this evil twin we all know nothing about. Tory rhetoric, include in pile marked 'Russian influence'....

It is all true, it's a matter of historical record, he has met with members of the IRA while they were actively engaged in their bombing campaign, and as for peaceable honest man, I take it you've not seen the footage of him on youtube lunging with his fist at a young female journalist a couple of years ago, for daring to ask a perfectly straight forward question about his so called leadership? He had to be dragged away by one of his hangers on. None of it is 'Tory rhetoric'. Both Corbyn and McDonnell have praised the IRA, McDonnell as recently as 2003.
